EOD Related Instructions and Patch Deployment Regarding

Dear Team(s),

In order to minimise the late night issues arising out of third step failures in EOD a patch is deployed which curtails the usage of certain menus between HISCOD and Date change happening in HSCOD.

This helps the CPC users and EOD support team users here in avoiding late night issues.  Now that the EOD operators/SPOCs,  initiating HISCOD in circle setID or HO or Division SETID results in partly posted transactions, partly verified transactions and entered transactions. This results in unblocking of the same and resultant following up with the CPCs for getting these transactions verified by raising tickets.

It is therefore requested to kindly inform the EOD operators to ensure that HISCOD is initiated by the USER concerned strictly and unless otherwise specified by CPCs in set IDs.  If the SPOCs are so sure that there are no blocking validations in the SOLs under their jurisdiction they can use it but it is our bounden duty to ensure that HISCOD is initiated by the USER at the SOL concerned please.
